Bailey lives in Geraldton where he operates a small trade business servicing the Mid-West region. Growing up in Perth, his early years were shaped by his involvement in local sporting clubs as well as various outdoor pursuits including fishing, diving, camping and shooting. He moved to Geraldton in 2021 and has become very invested in the local community.
During his involvement with the recovery efforts following cyclone Seroja, he saw first-hand the neglect that regional areas face, even in times of crisis. It was through that experience that he developed a passion for advocating for regional Australia. He made the decision to become involved in politics after witnessing and experiencing the neglect of regional Australians becoming worse under the current government.
Bailey believes that regional areas throughout Australia have been abandoned despite the critical role they play in keeping our nation alive and will be fighting to change that.
Our priorities are building stronger regional economies and secure communities, delivering opportunity and prosperity for all regional Australians, and ensuring a sustainable environment.
Stronger, more secure, sustainable local communities that provide the opportunity for everyone to prosper will deliver a stronger, more secure and sustainable nation.
The Nationals commitment to the national interest does not stop there. The Nationals provide a considered and common sense perspective on all elements of Government policy and a balance between Australia’s political extremes.
