Bring it on!
John Forrest MP -
The Nationals Federal Member for Mallee John Forrest says “bring the election on”.
“A September 14 Federal Election is too far out,” Mr Forrest said.
“I say bring it on. The earlier the better. The nation’s confidence is haemorrhaging
under this Labor Government.”
“The Prime Minister will be promising everything including the kitchen sink in the interim.
“People need to be reminded how long it will take to repay the Labor debt incurred since 2007, how much debt per capita they have racked up and the fact the interest on the money they have wasted would pay for NDIS and Gonski.”
Mr Forrest was first elected in 1993 and has improved his vote in the subsequent elections of 1996, 1998, 2001, 2004, 2007 and 2010.
“I’ve been challenged before and I don’t take the election process lightly.
“Most importantly, I have to convince electors they should have confidence in John Forrest in this, our wonderful democracy.
“Bring it on!” Mr Forrest said.
