Donate to The Nationals

Donate Now

We have a message for all Australians.  We want to share The Nationals’ plan to strengthen our nation, build better local communities and help all Australians to achieve their potential.

But we need your help to compete against the huge campaign resources of Labor and its union allies.

In the 2007 Federal election, the union movement spent $20.8 million supporting Labor’s campaign – more than any of the political parties and an enormous addition   to the Labor party’s own advertising spend of almost $14 million.

By contributing a cash donation to The Nationals, you can help us get our message out to the people.  You will also be helping to return The Nationals to Government and protect the way of life Australians now enjoy.  Any amount will make a difference, no matter how big or small.

How do I donate?

Send your cheque or money order to:
The National Party of Australia
PO Box 6190
KINGSTON ACT 2604
If you want your donation to go to a particular Member, Senator or candidate, please specify that in a covering note.

Why Donate?

The next election provides the best opportunity to return a strong, invigorated Coalition Government that will restore the balance in a nation that is now suffering the cost of wall-to-wall Labor Governments.
The choice is clear.  The Nationals have strong plans for the future and a track record of achievement as part of the former Coalition Government that delivered a long list of benefits for all Australians, including:

  • the strongest economy in living memory,
  • more prosperity for all Australians, including real wage growth of 21.5%,
  • interest rates that averaged 7.2%, compared to the 17% reached under Labor,
  • the lowest unemployment in 33 years,
  • ongoing tax cuts,
  • massive investment in critical infrastructure and services like roads and hospitals, and
  • dedicated investment funds for education and public sector superannuation liabilities to relieve the burden on future generations.

The alternative is the re-election of the current Labor Government that lacks the strength and experience to manage the economy, control the union bosses and stand up to the State Labor Governments to ensure that the essential services you’re entitled to are actually delivered.

Are donations tax deductible?

Donations to registered political parties of up to $1,500 are tax deductible.

Does my donation have to be disclosed?

Donations up to $10,500 do not have to be publicly disclosed.  Donations of more than $10,500 are subject to disclosure under the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918.

Thanks

Thank you for supporting The Nationals and contributing to Australia’s future.
